It is grown at high altitudes in the rich volcanic soils.  Each plantation is tended to by local farmers who cultivate without the use of pesticides or other chemicals. The cup is smooth tasting without any undesirable bitterness. It is a slightly sweet brew known to produce hints of nuts or citrus flavors.
