North of Australia lies a south pacific island chain that includes New Guinea. The island is divided, and the eastern half called Papua New Guinea. The volcanic soil, high mountains, and perfect weather come together and produce superior coffee. The coffee bean plants are said to be Jamaican. You will taste more body and complexity then Sumatran coffee and it’s less acidic. This coffee has character with sweetness and earthiness, a hint of cherries and an almost syrupy finish.
